The Photo is a Thing is a new podcast featuring discussions about the still image; it's power to captivate us, what drives us to make them and how do you make a good one. Every two weeks a new show will be released and my hope is that they will be casual conversations with industry luminaries from all facets of the photographic world. Not only photographers and not just the art world, but also people on both sides of the fence (creators and users) in industries as diverse as advertising, news media, documentary, weddings and even graphic artists and those in the film industry whose works intersects with photography.
